I was born and raised in Warren, Ohio, and graduated from Warren G. Harding/Trumbull Career & Technical Center. I have traditional Trumbull County views and values. My parents worked in the mills and taught me the lessons of hard work, respect, and responsibility. I spent a decade in the medical and dental fields before I was called to public service in 2007. My court career started out in an entry-level clerk position at the Trumbull County Domestic Relations Court under our current clerk, Karen Infante Allen. In 2018, I was promoted to Karen’s management team as her Administrative Assistant where I was responsible for payroll, budgeting, department spending, and supervision of the clerks at Domestic Relations Court.
In 2020, I was promoted to the position of Chief Deputy Clerk in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division, gaining even more valuable experience. I currently supervise seven employees in my office and have implemented overdue modernization efforts such as credit card payments for court costs. I am a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Italian American War Veterans, Women of the Moose International, and the Trumbull County Federated Women’s Democratic Club. I reside in Howland Township with my husband of 22 years, Jay, who is the Chief of Police for the City of Niles.
